Looking up to the sky very early one morning, this is the sight that greeted me.
The sun was about to rise and greet the day but for a while, the sky was filled with both.

Definitely in black bear country.
The would seem to be the local Bear crossing – yes we were stopped when we took this photo.
Turned out we did not need to, as we encountered at least 6 bears or the same one repeatedly in different place!
One of the most amusing things that I encountered was the Phone Booth, corner of what could only ever be called Linger and Wait – unless the bears are making phone calls.

…luxury or necessity in the bush.
Luxury was not necessarily what you would refer to our campsite as!
Even while camping someone has to get you up early…after being up all night going slap happy over mosquitoes and listening for bears, a little sleep in would be nice. Someone pass me a tea !!
